ASP.NET Blogs is a blogging software package that is currently under development at M&S Consulting. We plan to release the first version of this tool in early 2008.
For all of you professional bloggers or implementators that are using open source, typically, PHP/MySQL solutions, this is the product that could potentially put Microsoft on the map for some of the latest concepts of Web 2.0. With all of the features you would expect from a pro blogging package like tagging, rss feeds, user administration, and search engine optimization, ASP.NET Blogs will allow the huge Microsoft development community to embrace a solution built on the Microsoft platform.
Technologies supported will be Windows Server 2003, ASP.NET 2.0 (C#), and SQL Server 2005 (or SQL Express).
